This includes having sleeping changes, loss of interest, feeling guilt, having lack of energy, difficulty concentrating, loss of appetite, psychomotor retardation (or feelings of sluggishness), and suicidal thoughts.

Bipolar Disorder
What is bipolar disorder?
Bipolar disorder also referred to as a manic-depressive disease, is a mental disorder that causes an individual to experience significant highs and lows for a great amount of time (days to weeks), vs. simple short lived mood shifts that everybody faces.
It is important to speak to a provider if you feel that you may have bipolar disorder, as there are multiple types of bipolar, including Bipolar I, II, Cyclothymia, and more.
Some treatments of bipolar disorder are highly dependent on having a proper diagnosis. Medications are known to greatly assist, and counseling can also assist as well.
Schizophrenia
Having psychosis, or being unaware of what is real and what isn't, is a very scary phenomenon. A great deal of the research states that it is due to differences in neurochemistry, even though the problem is likely more complicated than this. We are here to help give you the support that you need.
